Police Dynamics “Intro” Video

The Character Training Institute did an excellent job producing this Intro video that shows the link between Police Dynamics and Character First! Pay close attention to the “man on the street” interviews. People really do think about police that way…!

  1. This is wonderful to see. I too have a very negative view of cops in general based on my experience and stories from friends. I love the work you’ve done and continue to do to fight police corruption and misconduct! It helps give hope that there are still good ones out there doing their jobs correctly and for the right reasons.

    • Congratulations, Zach! You have the dubious honor of making the first comment on my new site!

Thanks for your comments, too. I appreciate the confidence. If you want to see what real corruption looks like, come over here to Afghanistan with me. It is rampant at all levels. But I understand what you mean about the typical cop attitude. If you have about 8 min., take a look at the video that’s posted there. We did some “man on the street” interviews that you will enjoy…

Sheriff Ray (I’m trying to promote that as my screen name….!)

  2. This is great dad! You never fail to impress me no matter how many times I sit through your training! I always learn something new, you are an awesome example for police officers to follow, and I am so proud of what you are doing with Police Dynamics to fight corruption here and over there in Afghanistan!
    Love ya,
    Kelsey

  3. Hi Sheriff Ray, I say way to go. I loved your demo video. So I guess you are telling me that the police departments have not had training regarding character. If so, yikes.

    Pam

    • Not really. They get “ethics” training, which is all behavior-based: do this, don’t do that. Character goes much deeper into the intentions of the heart. I define good character as the inward motivation to do the right thing… regardless of the consequences… and regardless of the costs. Good character springs from the heart, and we do little to impact the heart-conditions of police officers. But that’s what Police Dynamics is all about and makes it so effective and popular. So far I’ve trained over 10,000 law enforcement officials and government leaders in the concepts…

How are things with the family? Mom was in the hospital for a few days due to another fainting spell. Seems to be OK now…

  4. As the wife of a Criminal Defense attorney, I understand the need for this type of training. Congratulations Ray for a job well done.

  5. Great video!!!!! Job well done… Keep up the good work and stay safe. Planning on returning to LE? If so, come to my state.. Take care

    • Thanks for the encouragement, Cheryl. I’ll see where God takes me in all this. Right now, I feel like I’m supposed to be over here in Afghanistan. But it sure is tough being away from home. What state are you in…?

  6. As a retired police Officer (1980-2007), I think you’re
on the right track! I believe 100 percent that you have
a program which is long over-due! People working in law enforcemtent have a tough job, and the general public has a difficult time understanding “all the behind scenes stuff in the business.” From day one, I never forgot the value of integrety and what that police badge meant. With God leading your message, your voice will be heard by many in need! I would love to be on the road with your team! Sincerely, Ron

    • Ron:

Thanks for the encouragement. Police Dynamics has been a labor of love for about 15 years or so. I’ve been all over the place doing the training and it seems to resonate with officers who are looking for answers to the difficult challenges of law enforcement. You can trace virtually all of our problems, in society and in police work, to a lack of character and to violations of certain God-ordained principles – like the principle of authority. Be sure to watch the video I just posted on the Tarnished Badge. And please visit often, post freely, and share the link with others.

I’m glad to have you on board with us…

      Sheriff Ray
