“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay…” – Matthew 28:6

The Empty Tomb

The Empty Tomb

But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.

– 1 Corinthians 15:12-19

May the Lord bless you as we celebrate His resurrection and His victory over sin and death…

  1. Getting almost 7000 hits in two months is phenomenal. But, you have to expect the hits to start tapering off some about this time. They will probably pick up as more people start passing your site on to their friends. Your blog is a success and now you have to give your viewers new stuff often. As you know there is a price for success. But you have a special talent of drawing people into your presentations so you will get repeat visitors. Keep up the good character, Nash.

How great to hear from you this Easter (Resurrection) Sunday. It has been a great day in the Lord here; it’s just 1:00 p.m., and we just concluded Sunday service. We will have Communion tonight. How awesome that you included Matthew 28:6, for I used that Scripture as one of my points at Hallmark today. I focused on great testimonies from Isaiah and Micah in the OT; and then Luke, Peter, John the Baptist, John the Apostle, Paul, and, of course God who testified of just who Jesus is. My concluding point is that He is not in the grave. He has risen, and He is coming again, just as He said He would. We pray that you will be safe and hurry home soon.
